Itinerary

Day 1: Casablanca – Arrival

Airport pickup and transfer to your accommodation. Optional guided visit to Hassan II Mosque depending on arrival time.

Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen

Visit Hassan II Mosque (if not done on Day 1). Travel to Rabat to explore Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and Oudayas Kasbah. Enjoy a scenic drive to Chefchaouen for a leisurely stroll through the medina and sunset from the Spanish Mosque.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Rif Mountains – Fes

Morning departure to Fes via the Rif Mountains. Enjoy scenic stops for panoramic views and a local lunch before arriving in Fes in the evening.

Day 4: Full Day Exploring Fes

Guided tour visiting the Royal Palace, Mellah, and Fes el-Bali Medina. See the Al-Qarawiyyin University, Bou Inania Madrasa, and Chouara Tannery. Explore local artisan workshops and enjoy a panoramic viewpoint.

Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

Day 6: Full Day Exploring Merzouga Desert

Watch the sunrise over the dunes and have breakfast at camp. Take a 4×4 desert tour to visit Berber villages, nomadic tents, and Dar Gnaoua for traditional Gnaoua music. Explore oases, enjoy sandboarding, and experience another sunset, dinner, and live music around the campfire.

Day 7: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Travel through the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, visiting the traditional markets of Rissani. Continue to the spectacular Todra Gorges before winding your way through the scenic Dades Valley.

Day 8: Dades – Ouarzazate – Aït Benhaddou – High Atlas – Marrakech

Travel through the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to Ouarzazate. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Aït Benhaddou Kasbah and optionally Telouet. Cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass with stops for panoramic views before arriving in Marrakech in the afternoon.

Day 9: Full Day Exploring Marrakech

Guided visit to the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and Saadian Tombs. Visit Jardin Majorelle and the Marrakech Museum. Explore the souks and experience Jemaa el-Fna Square at sunset.

Yes, on Day 10 we provide the flexibility to transfer you directly to Casablanca Airport if your return flight departs from there, rather than leaving you in Marrakech.

Are guided tours included in Fes and Marrakech?
Yes, Days 4 and 9 feature full-day guided tours with certified local experts who will help you navigate the complex medinas and explain the historical sites.

How many nights do we actually spend in the Sahara Desert?
You will spend two nights at the luxury desert camp in Merzouga (Days 5 and 6), which gives you plenty of time for a camel trek, a sunset, a sunrise, and a full 4×4 excursion.

Is the drive from Chefchaouen to Fes very long?
The drive takes about 4 hours, but it is a highly scenic route through the Rif Mountains. We break up the journey with stops for photos and a local lunch along the way.
