Why does this tour include both the Agafay Desert and the Merzouga Desert?
This tour offers the ultimate contrast. Merzouga (Erg Chebbi) features massive golden sand dunes and a classic Sahara experience, while the Agafay Desert is a peaceful, rocky lunar landscape located just outside Marrakech, perfect for a relaxing sunset without the long drive.
Will I have a guided tour in Fes and Marrakech?
Yes, Days 4 and 11 feature full-day guided tours with certified local experts who will help you navigate the complex medinas and explain the deep history of both cities.
How much time is spent in the High Atlas Mountains?
You will spend two nights (Days 9 and 10) dedicated to the Atlas Mountains. You will cross the range via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, stay in the village of Imlil at the foot of Mount Toubkal, and have the opportunity to hike or ride a mule.
Can I fly out of Marrakech on the last day instead of returning to Casablanca?
The official tour concludes with a transfer to Casablanca on Day 13. However, if your flight departs from Marrakech, we can easily arrange for you to finish your tour in Marrakech on Day 12 or 13 instead.
